Senior Developer
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for a small development team. You will coordinate the team's schedule to keep projects on task. You will lead the development, implementing, testing and maintenance of Peerview Data's application and related applications.
Key Responsibilities- Define project objects and develop plan for development schedules.
- Determine appropriate methods and tools for each project.
- Identify system issues and suggest effective solutions for your team.
- Work individually and in a team environment to develop code that carefully follows specs/product road map
- Write high-quality, bug-free code
- Operate in full stack environment - Rails, PostgreSQL, API integrations
- Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership of projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on details.
- Passionate about creating innovative products for software startups.
- Always learning, and looking to improve your game.
- 4+ years experience in hands-on web applications development
- Real-world project experience with Ruby on Rails
- Fluency in web languages like HTML5, CSS and Javascript
- Familiarity with financial statements, GAAP a plus
