We recently came across this article that we found to be extremely interesting. Here, Andrew McAfee and Erik Brynjolfsson spotlight the way that business management has been reconstructed and made to be more innovative in recent years with the help of Big Data.
What we liked so much about this article was the emphasis McAfee and Brynjolfsson put on the fact that the utilization of big data in business does not have to be limited to digitally operated or tech-based companies. They state:
"We expect companies that were born digital to accomplish things that business executives could only dream of a generation ago. But in fact the use of big data has the potential to transform traditional businesses as well."
